Jim graduated from Auckland University with a Bachelor of Human Biology, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He subsequently achieved a Diploma of Occupational Health Practice (Otago), Diploma of Occupational Medicine (Akld), Certificate in Hyperbaric Medicine (Akld) and Certificate in Teaching (Nthland Poly.).
He has held a number of positions including Hospice Medical Director, Department Medical Practitioner and General Practitioner. He has provided Project Manager and Consultancy services to a number of organisations including Northland District Health Board. Subsequently he was a Medical Advisor for HIH Insurance before forming Company Health Services Limited in 2000.
Jim is currently a medical advisor to such clients as The New Zealand Refinery Company, Fonterra (Kauri Site) and Shell New Zealand. He is an Accredited Provider for Accident Compensation Corporation.
Jim is a member of the Australia New Zealand Society of Occupational Medicine and winner of the Inaugeral Des Hall prize for best presentation. He is a Volunteer Firefighter and past member of the General Practitioners Association Executive. Jim is passionate about life and sharing his experiences. He currently delivers around 15 key note speeches each year on the topics of Health, Safety and workplace happiness. |

Karen graduated Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health from Massey University and holds a Certificate in Occupational Health.
She has held a number of positions including Occupational Health Nurse in Sydney, Community Mental Health Nurse in Northland and Health and Safety Advisor for Northland Dairy Company. Subsequently she provided Health & Safety Advisory services to such companies as New Zealand Refinery Company, Northpower, McBreen Jenkins, AFFCO and Juken Nissho Mill in Kaitaia.
Karen currently provides services such as ACC WSMP Auditor, H&S implementer, trainer and workplace assessor for such companies as Golden Bay Cement, Auckland District Health Board, NZ Refinery Company and Northland Dairy Company.
Karen is a contracted provider to ACC for workplace assessments and graduated return to work programmes which means that she often has the chance to visit a wide variety of construction sites as part of this programme.She is a recognised ACC Safety Management Practices Auditor and a recognised provider of the ACC Occupational Overuse Syndrome programme.
She is Branch Manager Northern for the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management and past president of the NZ Occupational Health Nurses Association.

Gavin graduated Certificate in Business from Northland Polytechnic and holds a Diploma in Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant. Gavin held a number of finance positions during a twelve year term at NZ Post.
Subsequently he was an investigating officer at Inland Revenue, Office Manager for Rural Banking & Finance and Group Financial Controller at McBreen Jenkins, before moving to Northland District Health Board where he held the positions of Chief Financial Officer and General Manager Finance, HR and Commercial Services.

Gavin graduated Master of Business Administration from Massey University and holds a Diploma of Business (Operations Management) from the University of Auckland. He held a number of management positions during a nine year term at Air New Zealand.
Subsequently, he was commercial manager at Sabre Pacific managing Australian and New Zealand business activities, a senior recruiter for TMP Worldwide and General Manager of Sales and Marketing for Origin Pacific Airways. He is currently a director and consultant with Integrity Trust Limited, Secure Information Group Limited, ARS Recruitment and CHL Consulting. He is a trustee of United Way of NZ Inc and has been involved in a consulting capacity with a number of leading NZ businesses.
